This panorama, taken by Christopher Gjevre, features a twilight view of downtown Indianapolis. Centered in the foreground is the brightly-lit state capitol building, the Indiana Statehouse. In the background is the city’s tallest building, Chase Tower, with 48 stories. To its left is the second-tallest building, OneAmerica Tower, with 38 stories. To the lower right of Chase Tower and in the center of the city, is Soldier’s and Sailor’s Monument, with its small white spire. It was the tallest structure in Indianapolis until the completion of the City-County Building in 1962. To the far right is Lucas Oil Stadium, home to the Indianapolis Colts.
