This panorama of Kenan Memorial Stadium was taken by James Blakeway. It showcases the North Carolina Tar HeelsTM football team scoring a touchdown. Located among the Carolina pines and considered one of the most picturesque athletic venues in America, Kenan Stadium has been the home of the Tar Heels® since 1927. The stadium has undergone a number of renovations over the years, including the addition of The Loudermilk Center for Excellence and a premium seating section named the Blue Zone. This 150,000 square-foot facility serves all of Carolina’s student athletes across 28 sports. North Carolina football was established in 1888 and is a member of the ACC.
