This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, features the Ole Miss Rebels hosting the Tennessee Volunteers, in front of a nationally televised game at Vaught Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field in Oxford, Mississippi. The University of Mississippi boasts a long and colorful football history, which includes the formation of the first football team in the state, as well as the winningest programs in the history of collegiate football. The beginnings of Rebel football can be traced back as far as 1890 and in 1893, a football team was organized. In 12 plus decades, Ole Miss has achieved an impressive record including numerous conference and national championship titles.
