Whether it's the shows, the lights, the casinos or just the upbeat and frantic vibe, Las Vegas appeals to everyone! All those lights, of course, offer some spectacular views, as can be seen on this Las Vegas, Nevada - Skyline Panorama. Text on Panorama:
This panoramic photograph of Las Vegas was taken from Mandalay Bay by Christopher Gjevre. It features a view looking north on Las Vegas Boulevard, more commonly known as the “Las Vegas Strip.” Featured on the left are the black, pyramid-shaped Luxor Hotel and Casino, Excalibur and New York, New York. On the right side, about half way down the strip is Paris with its replica of the Eiffel Tower. In the distance is Stratosphere Tower. At 1,149 feet, Stratosphere Tower is the tallest building west of the Mississippi River and has a roller coaster at the top. Tourism is Las Vegas’ dominant industry and the strip is the main attraction.
