The hand-crafted American Made College Trunk - Rhino - Bedside Cube is constructed from the highest quality components. The exterior laminate is an Embossed Vinyl of high performance vinyl coated polyester that’s highly resistant to water penetration, denting and scratching. It is also ideal for decorating and plastering with sticker decals. The exterior vinyl is laminated over 3/8" premium grade Baltic Birch hardwood plywood. The College Trunks Armored - Trundle features a soft-close lid allowing it to remain propped open at any angle, and eliminates the risk of the lid falling.
Conveniently sized and ruggedly built is the best way to describe this versatile dorm room trunk. In fact, its strong enough to stand on and will hold hundreds of pounds! It combines the security of a trunk with the functionality of a small wardrobe or nightstand. The slick design allows this Bedside Cube to be flipped! Combination Lock: The front of our College Trunks come with the ability to add a padlock. If you already own a padlock it will certainly work or if you need a padlock you can add-on our padlock and turn your trunk into a safer, more secure spot. Note: Our 'College Trunks' do not come with a lock and key system, thus if you want your trunk to be able to stay locked, you will want to add a padlock. DormCo.com does offer other trunk styles equipped with lock & key if that is your preference.
Engraved Nameplate: Want to make your trunk personalized? By adding an engraved nameplate you create a nicer, more personalized product. Great add-on buy for those making our college trunk a high school graduation gift or any gift in general.
About: Measures 1" high by 3" long. Lettering can be in upper or lower case, whichever you prefer. Lettering is in black. Most people put their full name on, but its your choice. You can have your name on one or two lines with 24 characters per line. Special characters and numbers can also be used. On the back of the name plate is a self-sticking adhesive. Therefore, you can place the name plate anywhere you like on the College Trunk.
Anchor Lock System: If there is concern that your trunk will have 'legs' and disappear out of your dorm room, then you'll want to add our anchor lock system. This system essentially keeps your new dorm room trunk secured to any immovable object in your dorm. You can cable it to your dorm bed, desk or any other spot where a cable can lock around and secure. (Comes with cable, eye bolt on trunk and lock)
About: Besides eye bolt, in the kit is a Masterlock Python 1/4″ × 6′ cable and lock. When not using the cable, you can remove the eye bolt and plug the hole with a provided steel hole plug. This system is easy to use and will provide the extra peace of mind and security in any dorm room environment.
