The hand-crafted American Made College Trunk - Rhino - XL Dorm Size is constructed from the highest quality components. The exterior laminate is an Embossed Vinyl of high performance vinyl coated polyester that’s highly resistant to water penetration, denting and scratching. It is also ideal for decorating and plastering with sticker decals. The exterior vinyl is laminated over 3/8" premium grade Baltic Birch hardwood plywood. Our College Trunks - XL size weighs about 20% less than comparably sized steel trunks. They not only are just as strong as steel trunks, but are actually more durable. The College Trunks - Armored XL Dorm Size features a soft-close lid allowing it to remain propped open at any angle, and eliminates the risk of the lid falling.
