This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, captures the fans cheering as their beloved Oklahoma State Cowboys crush the undefeated Baylor Bears at Boone Pickens Stadium. This evening was a test for both highly ranked teams and one of the nation’s biggest showdowns. In the end, the Cowboys won with a victorious final score of 49-17. OSU fans showed their support with a long-standing tradition of rising to their feet, waving one arm, while singing The Waving Song, “Oklahoma State! Oklahoma State! We'll sing your praise tonight!” Oklahoma State football boasts one of the nation’s top football powers, with a rich bowl history that includes many of the most prestigious games in college football.
