All college bedding items are Twin XL, which means they fit standard dorm beds that are 80" in Length. University beds are longer than your standard twin bed you may have at home, which means you'll be "short sheeted" if you bring your standard bedding from home to your dorm room. Your bedding from home will simply not fit your college bed, therefore Twin XL or Extra Long Twin is required dorm bedding.
