This panoramic photograph of Paris was taken by James Blakeway. It features one of the most visited and recognized city skyline's in the world. In the distance is the world-renowned Eiffel Tower which was originally constructed for the 1889 World's Fair. The river seen in the photograph is the Seine, which runs through the heart of Paris and offers beautiful and relaxing views from one of the many available river boats. Slightly left of the Eiffel Tower is the Hotel des Invalides with its gold-domed roof. Looking straigt down the river Seine in te distance you can see the Arc de Triomphe.
