This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, captures the University of Michigan Wolverines in their home opener against the Oregon State University Beavers. It marks the first home game for J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Head Football Coach Jim Harbaugh. The game also kicks off a year-long celebration of Michigan Athletics' 150th Anniversary. The Michigan Wolverines intercollegiate competition officially began its rich and storied tradition in the season of 1865-66 and, since that time, the athletic teams have claimed many national championships, beginning with football’s 1901 national title.
