This panorama, taken by Sacha Griffin, captures the Georgia Southern University Eagles Football team playing host to Appalachian State in the newly expanded Allen E. Paulson Stadium. The Eagles were victorious in their first-ever Sun Belt Conference home game. One of the finest facilities of its kind, Paulson Stadium features a new mid-deck which brings capacity to 25,000. The new 50,000 square foot Ted Smith Family Football Center encloses the east endzone with a dynamic high-definition videoboard, adding to the gameday experience. Winners of an unprecedented six national championships at the FCS level, Georgia Southern was invited to join the FBS Sun Belt Conference in 2013.
