Our 3M Command Large Hook is a cheap dorm room accessory that has many purposes. With its removable design this hook won't damage your dorm walls, while at the same time being able to hold up to 5lbs makes this dorm product a college necessity.
This removable hook is ideal for holding up your dorm room drapes or curtains. Since putting brackets in your wall is considered damaging your dorm property, which results in end of year fines, you'll have to get creative with how you hang your Blackout Curtain. The easiest and best way to hang your Blackout Curtain (if a tension rod is not possible) is to use 3M Command Hooks. Simply hang your curtain from the grommets on the 3M hooks or if your curtain doesn't have grommets, you'll need to place tiny holes in the top of the curtain to allow it to hang. This may not be ideal for home life, but for college dorm rooms it is the best way to avoid University fines, which can get pretty steep. (To Hold your Black Curtain you'll need at least 4 hooks with 6 to 8 being ideal)
Another use for Removable Hooks is to hang up you towel or coat. These anywhere hooks can keep your stuff hanging and out of the way. Just find a free area on your dorm closet door or wall and add your 3M hook for easy use.
