This panorama spotlights SMU hosting the first game in the renovated and expanded Moody Coliseum and the Mustangs’ first American Athletic Conference home game. Enhancements to the Coliseum included new premium seating, renovation of the entry lobby and concourses and other state-of-the-art upgrades. The project revitalized Moody Coliseum as a preeminent collegiate sports arena and multi-purpose event facility, preserving its historical character while adding the most modern technological enhancements. This nationally-televised and sold-out game saw SMU defeat 15th-ranked UConn, 74-65.
